ads computers is a family run business. Although there are no other direct employees, we do regularly use several other self employed techs on a sub-contract basis according to business demand and call out distance.
We have been in full time business as ads computers since 2002. For 4 years prior to that the business was run as a part time concern along with employment in IT with a major supermarket. It was in this capacity that the PC experience was first gained, being jointly responsible for systems roll out, training and integration in 22 East Midlands stores in the mid 1990s.
We do not have a shop front outlet. This is a decision
that was made early on as we believe the majority of
our customers prefer the personal touch by the way of
on site support. It also keeps overheads to a minimum.
We do, however, have a dedicated workshop in Stapleford,
and can arrange visits for PC viewings or training by
appointment. We always have several current model systems
for demonstration purposes, as well as laptops and other
peripherals.
The "ads" of ads computers is nothing more exciting than the owners initials. After weeks of deliberation that was the best he could come up with!
